Dog rescued from well
We received a distressing call about a dog trapped in a deep, uncovered well. Without hesitation, our incredible team at Welfare for Animals in Goa (WAG) rushed to the scene. Brave and determined, our staff lowered themselves into the well and, against all odds, successfully rescued the dog—who was so happy to be saved that it immediately came over to play with the team! 🐾💕
This is just one of many life-saving rescues we carry out daily at WAG. With over 180 animals in our care, we are committed to giving them a safe and loving home. But we can't do it alone. We need your support to continue this crucial work.
Cow rescue
We received an urgent call about a small bull who had been in an accident and went missing. Our dedicated team sprang into action, cutting through thorny trees and braving challenging conditions to rescue him.
After being safely brought to our shelter, the little bull finally received a much-needed meal after days without food. And then, something truly miraculous happened—he stood up for the first time in two days! 🐂❤️
